Racing Santander defeats Elche in a match dominated by the visitors
Racing Santander beat Elche CF 2-0 in a match played at the Campos de Sport de El Sardinero, corresponding to matchday 29 of the 2024 Segunda División season. Despite clear possession dominance by Elche (76%), the home team showed greater attacking effectiveness.
Goals arrived early. In the 5th minute, J. Arana opened the scoring after an assist from A. Martín. In the 23rd minute, A. Aldasoro extended the lead for the home side. Elche, despite their territorial dominance, barely troubled the opposition goal, with only one shot on target.
