Alianza Petrolera Claims Victory in Thrilling Match Against Once Caldas
Manizales, March 2, 2025 – In a thrilling match played at the Estadio Palogrande in Manizales, Alianza Petrolera defeated Once Caldas 3-1 in Matchday 7 of the 2025 Liga Águila. The encounter was marked by intensity, with a total of 11 yellow cards and one red card shown to Once Caldas.
Alianza Petrolera controlled possession (53%) and, although they had fewer shots (9 vs 14), they demonstrated greater efficiency, scoring three goals. Leonardo Palacios opened the scoring for Once Caldas in the 44th minute, but Francisco Pardo equalized before halftime (45th minute).
