HNK Gorica and NK Slaven Belupo Draw in a Thrilling Match
Velika Gorica, Croatia – In a thrilling match played at the ŠRC Velika Gorica, HNK Gorica and NK Slaven Belupo drew 2-2 in the eighth round of the HNL regular season.
The game started with a fast pace and opportunities for both teams. HNK Gorica had a goal disallowed in the 14th minute due to a foul, but took the lead in the 28th minute thanks to a penalty converted by J. Prsir. However, NK Slaven Belupo quickly responded and equalized in the 30th minute with a goal from D. Martinovic.
In the second half, the match became more physical, with several yellow cards for both teams. However, neither team managed to score a goal in the second half until the final minutes of the match.
In the 90th minute, HNK Gorica took the lead again with a goal from M. Slogar. But in the final seconds of the match, NK Slaven Belupo secured another equalizer to make the final score 2-2.
HNK Gorica dominated possession with 53% compared to 47% for NK Slaven Belupo, but NK Slaven Belupo had more shots on goal (4 against 6 for HNK Gorica).
Despite the draw, both teams showed good performances and demonstrated their ability to compete in the HNL.
