Universitario beats Alianza Atlético in an exciting match
Sullana, Peru – Universitario de Deportes secured a convincing 3-0 victory over Alianza Atlético in the tenth round of the Peruvian Primera División Clausura Tournament.
The match, played at the Estadio Campeones del ’36’, was characterized by the intensity and fight from both teams.
Universitario opened the scoring in the 8th minute with a goal by M. Pérez, assisted by S. Portocarrero. The second goal came in the 45th minute, courtesy of W. Riveros, assisted by A. Polo.
In the second half, M. Pérez scored again in the 88th minute, once again assisted by A. Polo, to seal the result.
