Santos Laguna Triumphs Over Atlas in Thrilling Match at Estadio Corona
Torreón, Mexico – Santos Laguna defeated Atlas 2-0 in an exciting Liga MX Clausura 2024 matchday 8 clash at the Estadio Corona. The match, officiated by Maximiliano Quintero Hernandez, was characterized by dynamic play and goal-scoring opportunities for both teams.
Brian Barticciotto opened the scoring in the 20th minute, assisted by Juan Abella. Atlas pushed for an equalizer, but a handball in the area prevented them from doing so in the 37th minute. Yellow cards to Atlas’ Pablo Ramírez and Santos Laguna’s Rodrigo Sordo increased the tension.
