Plymouth thrashed Millwall in a thrilling match at Home Park, winning by a convincing 5-1 scoreline. The game, part of the 32nd round of the English Championship, played on February 12th, 2025, saw Plymouth take an early lead thanks to a J. Bryan own goal in the 6th minute and a penalty converted by R. Hardie ten minutes later. M. Bundu extended the lead in the 53rd minute and R. Hardie scored his second goal in the 56th. Millwall managed to pull one back with a goal from J. Bryan in the 80th minute, but N. Katic sealed the victory for Plymouth with a goal in the 86th. Despite Millwall enjoying greater possession (64%), Plymouth were more clinical in front of goal, managing 12 shots with 7 on target, compared to Millwall’s 10 shots, 6 on target. A. Randell received a yellow card for Plymouth. The match, refereed by Jeremy Simpson, was a spectacle of goals and excitement until the final whistle.
