Cuniburo falls to Mushuc Runa in thrilling encounter
Riobamba, March 15, 2025.- Mushuc Runa SC defeated Cuniburo in a vibrant match played at the Estadio Olímpico de Riobamba, corresponding to the fifth round of the 2025 Liga Pro regular season. The final score was a 2-3 victory for the home team.
The match was marked by intensity and excitement from the start. Cuniburo opened the scoring with two goals from R. Monti (minutes 39′ and 45′), the second assisted by D. Luna. However, Mushuc Runa reacted strongly in the second half. D. Quintero scored for the home team in the 56th minute, reducing the difference.
The match was interrupted by several yellow cards: Cuniburo received three (Cuniburo 34′, L. Gomez 57′, K. Ushina 87′, D. Luna 88′) and Mushuc Runa two (B. Bentaberry 49′, R. Formento 90′).
