Querétaro Edges Out Mazatlán in a Rough Match
Club Querétaro defeated Mazatlán FC by a score of 1-0 in a heated match played at the Estadio Corregidora in Santiago de Querétaro. The game, part of the Liga MX Clausura 2024, round 12, was officiated by Luis Santander and saw two players sent off from each team.
Roberto Bogarín scored the only goal of the match in the 24th minute, assisted by Leonardo Rodríguez. However, Querétaro’s victory was far from comfortable. Bogarín received three yellow cards, the last resulting in his dismissal in the 56th minute. Mazatlán also had Miguel Lainez sent off in the 59th minute after accumulating two yellow cards.
