Motherwell Edges Out Dundee in Thrilling Fir Park Encounter
Motherwell secured a 2-1 victory over Dundee in a captivating match at Fir Park, Motherwell on February 26th, 2025. The game, part of the Scottish Premiership’s round 28, was a closely fought contest until the final whistle.
The home side took the lead in the 12th minute through a goal from D. Casey, assisted by A. Halliday. Halliday, however, received a yellow card in the 37th minute. Dundee, enjoying a greater share of possession (59%), pushed for an equalizer but struggled to break down the Motherwell defence. S. Murray finally found the back of the net for the visitors in the 79th minute, assisted by C. Reilly. Dundee’s joy was short-lived, however, as D. Casey scored again for Motherwell in the 84th minute, assisted by H. Paton, securing the win for the home side.
