Leeds Dominates Millwall in Home Victory
Leeds United secured a 2-0 win against Millwall at Elland Road, Leeds, West Yorkshire on March 12th, 2025. The Championship match, refereed by Dean Whitestone, saw Leeds control the game from start to finish.
An own goal by J. Cooper in the 3rd minute gave Leeds an early lead. Despite this, Millwall struggled to create chances, managing only four shots with none on target. Leeds, on the other hand, dominated possession (61%) and had 17 shots, although only two were on target. A goal from A. Tanaka, assisted by J. Firpo in the 85th minute, sealed the victory for the home side. The 2-0 scoreline accurately reflected Leeds’ dominance throughout the match. Leeds controlled the game through possession and chance creation, while Millwall, despite their efforts, failed to seriously threaten the Leeds goal.
