Gais defeats Degerfors IF in exciting Gamla Ullevi match
Gothenburg, Sweden – Gais secured a convincing 2-0 victory over Degerfors IF in a match played at Gamla Ullevi stadium in Gothenburg on April 13th. The game, part of the 2025 Allsvenskan regular season round 3, was officiated by Oscar Johnson from Sweden. Gais dominated possession (64%) and shots on goal (20 shots to Degerfors’ 8).
A. Henriksson opened the scoring in the 21st minute, assisted by I. Diabate, who later added a second goal in the 45th minute with an assist from A. Wangberg. The match saw numerous fouls (9 by Gais, 18 by Degerfors), resulting in yellow cards for S. Ohlsson (Degerfors, 24th minute), N. Girmai (Degerfors, 57th minute), and I. Diabate (Gais, 64th minute).
