Feyenoord Mounts Comeback and Dominates Panathinaikos at De Kuip
Rotterdam, October 23, 2025 – Feyenoord defeated Panathinaikos in a thrilling UEFA Europa League match at De Kuip stadium. Despite a promising start for the Greek team, with a goal by K. Swiderski in the 18th minute, Feyenoord showed their strength and ability to react.
The first half ended in a draw, thanks to a goal by G. Read just before the break. In the second half, Feyenoord took control of the match. A. Hadj Moussa scored in the 55th minute, giving the home team the lead. In added time, C. Larin sealed the victory with a goal in the 90th minute, leaving the final score at 3-1 in favor of Feyenoord.
The match was hard-fought, with a high number of fouls and yellow cards, 5 for Panathinaikos and 1 for Feyenoord. Feyenoord dominated in ball possession (50%), shot more times on target (8), and generated more goal-scoring opportunities. Panathinaikos, although they fought hard, could not keep up with the Dutch team’s pace in the second half.
