Botafogo Secures Victory in Thrilling Match Against RB Bragantino in Rio de Janeiro
Rio de Janeiro, Brazil – The Estádio Olímpico Nilton Santos was the stage for a vibrant match where Botafogo defeated RB Bragantino with a score of 4 to 1. From the start, the encounter promised excitement, and it did not disappoint.
Danilo opened the scoring for Botafogo in the 6th minute, assisted by S. Rodriguez, giving the home team an early lead. However, RB Bragantino responded quickly, with Jhon Jhon leveling the score in the 15th minute, thanks to an assist from Nathan Mendes.
Botafogo regained the lead in the 33rd minute with a goal from Newton. Before halftime, J. Savarino extended the difference in the 45th minute, assisted by Jeffinho, leaving the score at 3 to 1 at halftime. The match saw a yellow card for Lucas Barbosa of RB Bragantino in the 39th minute.
