Arsenal Secures Thrilling Victory over Bayern München at Emirates Stadium
London, November 26, 2025 – Arsenal triumphed over Bayern München in a vibrant match held at the Emirates Stadium, as part of the fifth matchday of the UEFA Champions League group stage. The match, refereed by Italian Marco Guida, was marked by intensity and goal-scoring opportunities.
The “Gunners” opened the score early, in the 22nd minute, thanks to a goal by J. Timber with an assist from B. Saka. However, Bayern reacted and tied the game in the 32nd minute with a goal from L. Karl, assisted by S. Gnabry. The first half was tense, with several yellow cards shown, including one for Arsenal coach, M. Arteta.
The second half was even more exciting. Arsenal regained the lead in the 69th minute with a goal by N. Madueke, assisted by R. Calafiori. Shortly after, in the 76th minute, G. Martinelli extended the lead with a goal assisted by E. Eze.
Despite Bayern München dominating possession with 60%, Arsenal was more effective in front of goal, with 8 shots on target compared to the German team’s 2. Arsenal committed more fouls (16) than Bayern (12), and both teams received two yellow cards. In the end, Arsenal secured a well-deserved victory at home.
