Al Akhdoud Dominates and Defeats Damac in Tense Encounter
Najran, Saudi Arabia – Al Akhdoud secured a victory over Damac in a fiercely contested match at the Prince Hathloul Bin Abdul Aziz Sport City Stadium on Wednesday, February 13, 2025. The game, part of the 20th round of the Saudi Pro League, saw Al Akhdoud dominate possession (71%) and create numerous goal-scoring opportunities, registering 15 shots, 6 of which were on target. However, the win was far from comfortable.
Damac were significantly hampered from the 12th minute onwards following the red card shown to M. Al Nemer. Despite their dominance, Al Akhdoud also received several yellow cards: G. Hawsawi, Petros, C. Bassogog, M. Al Saeed, and N. Asiri. Damac’s A. Fallatah also received a yellow card late in the match. Despite their numerical and possession advantage, Al Akhdoud couldn’t extend their lead, winning the match 1-0. The final score reflects the tension and control exerted by the home team.
