Australia defeated Indonesia 5-2 in a thrilling match at the Allianz Stadium in Sydney, corresponding to the 7th matchday of the 3rd round of Asian World Cup qualification for 2026. Despite Indonesia dominating possession (60%), Australia proved more clinical in front of goal.
The match started with a missed penalty by Indonesia in the 8th minute, after which Australia took the initiative. A penalty converted by M.
