Swansea edge Bristol City in a tight encounter
Swansea secured a 1-0 victory over Bristol City in a hard-fought match at the Swansea.com Stadium on Sunday. The only goal of the game came in the 15th minute through Ben Cabango, who capitalized on a pass from Joel Eom.
Swansea dominated possession throughout the match, holding 66%, but struggled to create many clear-cut chances, registering just 2 shots on target. Bristol City, on the other hand, tried to press forward with 15 shots, but only 6 found the target.
The game was punctuated by a number of yellow cards. Kyle Naughton of Swansea was cautioned in the 49th minute, while Andi Mehmeti of Bristol City received a yellow card in the 55th minute.
