Ajax defeats Vojvodina in a comeback win
Bačka Topola, Serbia – Ajax overcame Vojvodina 4-1 in a thrilling match in the UEFA Europa League second qualifying round. The match was played at the TSC Arena and was marked by a comeback by the Dutch team after an initial goal by the Serbian team.
The first half was marked by tension and few scoring opportunities. The only yellow card of the first half was seen by K. Taylor (Ajax) in the 30th minute. Vojvodina managed to open the scoring in the 59th minute thanks to a goal by L. Nikolic, assisted by C. Zady. However, Ajax reacted strongly in the second half. J.
