Voitsberg edges out SV Kapfenberg in a thrilling match
Voitsberg, Austria – Voitsberg secured a thrilling 2-1 victory against SV Kapfenberg in an Austrian 2. Liga match played at the Münzer Bioindustrie Sportpark Voitsberg.
The game started at a fast pace, with Voitsberg taking the lead in the 4th minute through a goal from P. Zuna. However, SV Kapfenberg equalized in the 28th minute with a goal from D. Heindl.
The second half became more intense. Voitsberg dominated possession but were hampered by yellow cards to J. Jantscher and M. Salentinig. SV Kapfenberg became more aggressive in the latter stages of the match, leading to M. Miskovic being sent off in the 90th minute. Despite playing with a man down, SV Kapfenberg managed to score in the 90th minute through A. Hofleitner but couldn’t avoid defeat.
