Viborg edges out Lyngby in a close contest
Viborg defeated Lyngby 1-0 in a tight match at the Energi Viborg Arena. The game started with Lyngby dominating possession, but Viborg was more effective in attack.
In the 28th minute, Lyngby had the chance to open the scoring with a penalty, but M. Abubakari missed the shot. Viborg responded with a goal from N. Burgy in the 57th minute, assisted by Serginho, which turned out to be the only goal of the match.
Lyngby pressed for an equaliser, but Viborg’s defense stood firm. In the 90th minute, S. Radic received a yellow card, bringing the game to a close with Viborg as the victors.
