VfB Stuttgart and Sparta Praha draw in an exciting match
VfB Stuttgart and Sparta Praha drew 1-1 in an exciting encounter in the second matchday of the Champions League group stage.
VfB Stuttgart started stronger, controlling possession and creating several scoring opportunities. The opening goal came in the 7th minute, when E. Millot converted a pass from M. Mittelstadt to beat the Sparta Praha goalkeeper.
However, Sparta Praha did not give up and managed to equalize the match in the 32nd minute with a goal from K. Kairinen, who took advantage of a defensive error by VfB Stuttgart.
The rest of the match was a back-and-forth affair, with both teams looking for the win. VfB Stuttgart had more possession and shots, but Sparta Praha was more effective in attack.
