Almería Wins a Tight Match Against Tenerife
Almería secured a 1-0 victory in their away match against Tenerife, played at the Estadio Heliodoro Rodríguez Lopéz.
The match was marked by the red card shown to J. León in the 53rd minute, leaving Tenerife with one less player for most of the game. Despite this, the home team had several scoring opportunities, but Almería’s defense stood firm.
The only goal of the match came in the 64th minute, scored by N. Melamed, who capitalized on a good pass to beat the Tenerife goalkeeper.
Almería dominated possession of the ball with 59% compared to 41% for Tenerife. The visitors also had more shots (20 against 11), although most of these were off target.
