Spartak Moscow beats Rostov convincingly in a vibrant match
Spartak Moscow dominated FC Rostov in an exciting match that ended with a resounding 3-0 victory for the home side. Goals from Nikolaj Umyarov, Shamar Nicholson and again Nicholson in the second half sealed the victory for Spartak.
The match started at a fast pace with opportunities for both teams. In the 9th minute, Shamar Nicholson had the first chance for Spartak, but his goal was disallowed for offside. Just two minutes later, Denisov was booked for a foul.
Rostov responded with a yellow card for Langovich in the 21st minute. But Spartak was quick to open the scoring. One minute later, Umyarov put the team 1-0 up with a decisive shot. Nicholson extended the lead in the 34th minute, taking advantage of a pass from Martins Pereira.
In the second half, Spartak continued to dominate the match. Nicholson scored again in the 45th minute, this time assisted by Barco, to seal the game.
Rostov tried to react, but Spartak controlled the game and did not allow their opponents to create any danger.
Spartak Moscow played a brilliant match and took home the three points. Rostov, for their part, could not find a way to counter Spartak’s attack and had to settle for defeat.
