Sigma Olomouc 3 – 2 Baník Ostrava
Sigma Olomouc secured an exciting 3-2 victory over Baník Ostrava in an action-packed match at the Andrův stadion.
The game started at a slow pace, but quickly ignited with the opening goal by J. Kliment for Sigma Olomouc in the 34th minute, assisted by F. Zorvan.
However, Baník Ostrava did not back down and equalized the score in the 42nd minute through M. Sin, with an assist from J. Juroska.
In the second half, M. Sin scored again in the 50th minute, giving Baník Ostrava the lead, with Ewerton providing the assist.
Sigma Olomouc fought to regain the advantage and finally did so in the 85th minute with a penalty converted by J. Kliment.
The game ended with a late goal from Sigma Olomouc, sealing the victory in the 89th minute.
Sigma Olomouc had 51% possession, while Baník Ostrava had 49%. Sigma Olomouc managed 15 shots, 4 on target and 8 off target, while Baník Ostrava had 13 shots, 6 on target and 5 off target.
