Juventus crushes Sassuolo in a thrilling match
Sassuolo hosted Juventus at the Stadio Enzo Ricci for the first round of the Serie A Women in a match that ended with a resounding victory for the bianconeri by 7-3.
From the start, Juventus showed dominance, with offensive and dynamic football that allowed them to open the scoring in the 7th minute with a goal from C. Beccari, assisted by E. Cascarino, who had received a yellow card minutes earlier. Sassuolo reacted with a goal from L. Juventus dominated possession (51%) and generated more scoring opportunities (18 shots, 9 on target), while Sassuolo had 49% possession and 14 shots (6 on target). Despite the defeat, Sassuolo showed good football at times during the match and will need to improve some aspects for the next round.
