AS Eupen and RWDM draw in an exciting match
RWDM came back from a goal down to draw AS Eupen 2-2 in an exciting match at the Edmond Machtensstadion in Brussels.
The match started with an early goal from R. Emond for AS Eupen, assisted by Y. Van Genechten, in the 1st minute. RWDM responded with a goal from G. Robail, assisted by I. Ziani, in the 43rd minute to tie the game before halftime.
In the second half, RWDM took the lead thanks to a goal from I. Ziani in the 74th minute, assisted by P. Parzyszek. However, AS Eupen did not give up and was able to equalize the game in the 90th minute.
Despite multiple substitutions for both teams in the final minutes, the score did not move and the match ended with an exciting 2-2 draw.
RWDM dominated ball possession with 53%, while AS Eupen managed 16 shots, 4 of which were on target, while RWDM had 5 shots, 2 of them on target. RWDM committed 11 fouls and received one yellow card, while AS Eupen committed 14 fouls and did not receive any cards.
