Royal Pari beats Aurora in a low-scoring match
Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia – Royal Pari defeated Aurora 2-1 in a match corresponding to the 12th round of the Bolivian First Division Clausura. The game was played at the Ramón Aguilera Costas Stadium and was officiated by referee R. Ticona.
The match started with little excitement and with territorial dominance by Royal Pari. The first yellow card of the match came in the 13th minute when Aurora’s Carlos Sejas received the caution.
In the second half, Royal Pari made four changes in search of more dynamism in attack. The strategy paid off in the 68th minute when Hallysson Padilha scored the first goal of the game, assisted by C. Padilla.
Aurora reacted and in the 85th minute they discounted with a goal from C. Enciso, assisted by Serginho. Despite the goal, Aurora could not equalize the score and Royal Pari took the victory.
Royal Pari dominated ball possession (53% vs. 47%), but both teams had few chances to score. Royal Pari made 3 shots, none on target, while Aurora only made one shot that was on target.
The result leaves Royal Pari in a favorable position in the standings, while Aurora will have to look for a victory in the next round to regain ground.
