Qatar vs. United Arab Emirates: A hard-fought game ends with a United Arab Emirates victory

Al Rayyan, Qatar – In a thrilling match played at the Ahmed bin Ali Stadium, the United Arab Emirates emerged victorious against Qatar by a score of 4-1 in the first round of the third qualifying phase for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Qatar dominated possession for much of the game, controlling the ball with a 69% possession rate. In the 38th minute, they took the lead with a goal from I. Al Hassan, assisted by A. Afif.
