Portimonense thrash Maritimo in a dominant performance
Portimão, Portugal – Portimonense secured a resounding 6-1 victory over Maritimo at the Estádio Municipal de Portimão, dominating the game from start to finish.
V. Paulo opened the scoring in the 14th minute with a goal assisted by E. Benedict. Chico Banza doubled the lead in the 43rd minute, with an assist from Geovane, and a minute later, E. Benedict scored the third goal with an assist from Chico Banza.
Maritimo pulled one back in the 46th minute through M. Tavares, but Portimonense remained undeterred. Chico Banza scored his second of the game in the 53rd minute, and V. Paulo rounded off the scoring in the 79th minute with an unassisted goal.
