Petrolul Ploiești crushes Hermannstadt in a dominant display
Petrolul Ploiești secured a resounding 4-1 victory over AFC Hermannstadt in a thrilling match of the Romanian Liga I. The hosts dominated the encounter from the start, scoring three goals in the first half and a fourth in the second.
Ricardinho opened the scoring in the 6th minute, assisted by S. Hanca. M. Radulescu bagged a brace, the first in the 11th minute and the second in the 26th, also assisted by S. Hanca in the first goal and A. Tudorie in the second.
In the second half, AFC Hermannstadt managed to pull one back through S. Bus in the 48th minute, but Petrolul Ploiești responded immediately with a goal from G. Grozav in the 63rd minute, thanks to the assist from N. Akosah-Bempah.
