OFI edges out Panserraikos in a thrilling encounter
OFI Crete emerged victorious over Panserraikos with a 4-2 win in a gripping match played at the Dimotiko Stadio Serron in Serres. The visiting team dominated the first half, scoring twice through Bressan in the 8th minute and T. Nuss in the 26th.
However, Panserraikos responded in the second half, pulling one goal back through J. Betancor in the 28th minute and equalizing with a goal from M. Fares in the 45th.
Despite Panserraikos’ push, OFI regained the lead in the 90th minute with a penalty converted by T. Fountas. Fountas then sealed the victory for his team in the 90th minute with a header, leaving the final score at 4-2.
