Olympiakos Piraeus beats Atromitos with two goals in an intense match
Olympiakos Piraeus secured an important 2-0 victory over Atromitos in a match played at the Stadio Georgios Karaiskáki.
The home side controlled possession for most of the game, but they didn’t manage to open the scoring until the 39th minute, when Rodinei scored from a penalty. After the break, Olympiakos continued to press and found their second goal in the 75th minute thanks to a strike by A. El Kaabi.
Atromitos, for their part, couldn’t generate many chances and were outmatched by Olympiakos’ intensity. The match was marked by the presence of several yellow cards, with two for Olympiakos and one for Atromitos.
With this win, Olympiakos Piraeus adds three crucial points in the Super League 1, while Atromitos remains without points in the round.
