Universidad de Chile thrashed O’Higgins in Rancagua
Rancagua, Chile – Universidad de Chile prevailed this Saturday in a vibrant encounter against O’Higgins at El Teniente Stadium, on matchday 20 of the Chilean Primera División. The blues demonstrated their superiority with a resounding 4-0 victory, thanks to goals from Mauricio Guerrero Peña (25′), Leandro Fernández (66′), Cristián Palacios (83′) and Fernando Hormazábal (86′).
O’Higgins, on the other hand, had a complicated match, loaded with yellow cards (4) and without finding their rhythm. Possession of the ball was mostly for Universidad de Chile (61%), who also outshot their rival (14 vs 21) and corners (4 vs 11).
