Millonarios overcomes Patriotas in a vibrant match
Villavicencio, Colombia – Millonarios achieved a convincing victory against Patriotas in a match played at the Estadio Bello Horizonte – Rey Pelé. The final score was 3-0, with goals from J. Valencia (40′), R. Falcao (55′) and D. Catano (71′).
The match began with an intense pace, and both teams looked to score early. Patriotas had the first chance in the 7th minute, but J. Garcia received a yellow card for a foul on a Millonarios player.
In the 40th minute, Millonarios broke the deadlock thanks to a well-placed shot by J. Valencia, assisted by J. E. Cordoba Mosquera. The goal motivated Millonarios and in the 55th minute, R. Falcao extended the lead with a goal after an assist from J. Valencia.
