Metz Holds Lorient to a Goalless Draw
Metz and Lorient played out a goalless draw at the Stade Saint-Symphorien in a match with few clear-cut chances.
Lorient dominated possession with 56% compared to Metz’s 44%, and also had more shots on target (5) than Metz (1), but they were unable to find the back of the net. The only goal of the game came in the 27th minute, when C. Sabaly scored for Metz, but it was ruled offside.
The referee for the game, Marc Bollengier, showed two yellow cards to each team.
