Mazatlán secures a resounding victory over Pachuca

Mazatlán defeated Pachuca by a score of 4-0 on Saturday in a matchday 5 clash of the 2024 Apertura Liga MX. The victory was secured in a second half where Pachuca was decimated by the expulsion of two of its players.

The match began with a more aggressive Pachuca, but as the minutes went by, Mazatlán gained control of the ball and the opportunities. The first goal came in the 26th minute through L. Sanchez, who took advantage of a precise pass to beat the Tuzos’ goalkeeper.

In the second half, the score opened up significantly. In the 31st minute, B. Rubio extended Mazatlán’s lead with a decisive shot.
