KRC Genk II defeats Liège in a vibrant match
Geel, Belgium – KRC Genk II secured a resounding 5-1 victory over Liège in a Challenger Pro League match played at the De Leunen stadium. The game, marked by the intensity and effectiveness of the visitors, saw Italian striker R. Mirisola as the protagonist, scoring two goals and providing an assist.
The first goal of the match arrived in the 34th minute thanks to Z. Atteri, putting Liège in the lead. However, the home team’s joy was short-lived as Atteri received a yellow card just one minute later for a foul on a Genk player. At the end of the first half, J.
