Al Wahda FC edges past Khorfakkan in a tense encounter
Al Wahda FC secured a 1-0 victory over Khorfakkan in a closely fought match at the Saqr bin Mohammad al Qassimi Stadium in Khor Fakkan. The lone goal of the game arrived in the 13th minute, courtesy of a strike from A. Zouhir, assisted by A. Nourollahi.
The match was characterized by intensity and a battle for possession, with Al Wahda FC dominating with 54% compared to Khorfakkan’s 46%. Al Wahda FC’s triumph was further emphasized by their attacking dominance, firing 14 shots on target (7 of which hit the net) against Khorfakkan’s 4.
Despite the defeat, Khorfakkan remained undeterred and fought valiantly until the final whistle. The home side generated chances to equalize, but the Al Wahda FC defense stood strong.
