Telstar Edges Out Jong PSV in Thrilling Match
Telstar secured a 2-0 victory over Jong PSV in an Eerste Divisie match held at PSV Campus De Herdgang in Eindhoven. Z. Eddahchouri shone brightly, scoring two goals to seal the win for Telstar.
Jong PSV enjoyed more possession (63%), but Telstar was more effective in attack, registering 21 shots (6 on target) compared to Jong PSV’s 11 (5 on target). Telstar also had more corner kicks (8) than Jong PSV (4).
The first goal arrived in the 27th minute, when Z. Eddahchouri capitalized on a pass from C. Seedorf to find the back of the net. Telstar’s second goal came in the 85th minute, with Z. Eddahchouri scoring again, this time without an assist.
Telstar received a yellow card in the 76th minute, while Jong PSV remained card-free.
Despite the defeat, Jong PSV remains a dangerous team with a lot of potential. Telstar, on the other hand, showcased its ability to overcome stronger opponents.
