IMT Novi Beograd beat Jedinstvo Ub in a thrilling match
IMT Novi Beograd defeated Jedinstvo Ub 3-1 in a thrilling match at the Stadion Dragan Dzajić in Ub. The match, corresponding to the 6th round of the Serbian Super League, was marked by the expulsion of Mitrovic in the 19th minute and the great offensive display of IMT.
The first goal came in the 8th minute, when Y. Court scored a penalty for IMT. Jedinstvo Ub equalized in the 17th minute through V. Damjanic. Following Mitrovic’s expulsion, IMT took control of the match and scored two more goals in the first half, both from N. Krstic (minutes 27 and 38).
In the second half, Jedinstvo Ub managed to reduce the deficit in the 57th minute with a goal from D. Acimovic, but it wasn’t enough to avoid defeat.
IMT Novi Beograd dominated the possession of the ball (64%) and managed to generate more scoring chances (9 shots, 4 on target) than their rivals.
