Juventus secure a convincing win over Genoa in Serie A
Genoa, Italy – Juventus secured a 3-0 victory over Genoa in a Serie A clash held at the Stadio Comunale Luigi Ferraris. The match was dominated by Juventus’ superiority in possession and attack, which was reflected in the scoreline.
Juventus opened the scoring in the 48th minute with a penalty converted by Dusan Vlahovic. The Serbian striker scored again in the 55th minute, this time with an open play goal, to make it 2-0. The third goal came in the 89th minute, courtesy of Francisco Conceição, who capitalized on a pass from Kingsley Thuram to seal Juventus’ victory.
Genoa, for their part, tried to react but faced a solid Juventus defense. The possession of the ball was largely in favor of the visitors, with 66% compared to Genoa’s 34%. Juventus also generated more scoring chances, with 12 shots on goal compared to Genoa’s 7.
