FC Gomel beats Bate Borisov in a thrilling encounter
Gomel, Belarus – FC Gomel secured a vital home victory on Sunday, defeating Bate Borisov 2-0 in a thrilling Belarusian Premier League match.
The goals came in the second half. R. Effaghe opened the scoring for Gomel in the 42nd minute, assisted by R. Davyskiba. The second goal came in the 64th minute, courtesy of F. Abdullahi, who capitalized on a pass from A. Potapenko.
Bate Borisov tried to respond, but they were unable to break through Gomel’s strong defense. In the 76th minute, Y. Affi received a yellow card for a foul.
