FC Dnepr Mogilev edges out Smorgon in a thrilling match
Mogilev, Belarus – FC Dnepr Mogilev secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Smorgon in a thrilling Belarusian Premier League match played at the Stadyen Spartak in Mogilev on Sunday.
The encounter was marked by intensity and yellow cards. Smorgon started strongly, but FC Dnepr Mogilev managed to control the game and capitalize on their chances.
The first goal came in the 67th minute, courtesy of I. Boltrushevich, who finished off a well-timed assist by None. Smorgon responded with vigor and equalized in the 81st minute through a goal by P. Gorbach. However, the visitors’ joy was short-lived as Guilherme Brito scored the winning goal for FC Dnepr Mogilev in the 86th minute, assisted by Y. Klochkov.
