FC Copenhagen Wins Comfortably Against Aalborg
FC Copenhagen secured a convincing 2-0 victory against Aalborg in the 9th round of the Danish Superliga, played on Monday at Parken Stadium in Copenhagen.
The match, officiated by Mikkel Redder, was dominated by the home side, who controlled possession for a large part of the game.
In the first half, FC Copenhagen created several scoring opportunities, but Aalborg’s defense held firm.
After the break, FC Copenhagen continued to press and found the breakthrough in the 63rd minute through a strike from Mathias Mattsson, assisted by Elyounoussi.
The second goal arrived in the 72nd minute, courtesy of Elyounoussi, who received a pass from Diks.
Aalborg, on the other hand, barely threatened the opposition goal and created few clear chances.
Despite numerous substitutions made by both teams in the closing stages of the match, the score remained unchanged, with FC Copenhagen taking home all three points.
Next week, FC Copenhagen will travel to Brøndby, while Aalborg will host AGF.
