Norwich secures a resounding victory over Derby in a thrilling match
Derby, England – Norwich City secured a convincing victory over Derby County at the Pride Park Stadium, with a final score of 5-1 in an exciting encounter that took place on matchday 7 of the Championship.
The match began with a fast pace, with both teams looking for possession of the ball and creating dangerous opportunities. The first yellow card of the match came in the 21st minute, when C. Forsyth of Derby saw the yellow card. Four minutes later, S. Duffy of Norwich received the same sanction.

Norwich’s victory was built on a solid base of ball possession (58% vs 42% of Derby), a higher number of shots (8 vs 13 of Derby) and superior effectiveness in finishing.
Despite the defeat, Derby had a good performance, making 13 shots (4 on target) and getting 8 corners. However, the lack of precision in the last pass and the constant loss of the ball were key to the final result.
