Dender defeats Kortrijk in a thrilling match
Denderleeuw, Belgium – Dender triumphed over Kortrijk in a vibrant match that ended with a score of 4-2. The locals dominated much of the encounter, scoring four goals and exposing Kortrijk’s defensive shortcomings.
The match began with an intense pace. In the 23rd minute, R. Kvet opened the scoring for Dender, taking advantage of an assist from J. Pupe. Kortrijk did not flinch and in the 39th minute, T. Kaneko equalized after an assist from A. Kadri.
However, Dender regained the lead in the 36th minute with a goal from B. Nsimba, assisted by D. Hrncar. Kortrijk, down a man since the 79th minute following the expulsion of M. Mampassi, could not contain Dender’s offensive, which scored two more goals in the final stretch of the match, both by M. Berte (minutes 67 and 89).
