Cusco defeats Comerciantes Unidos in a thrilling match
Cusco, Peru – In a match full of emotions and goals, Cusco prevailed 3-1 against Comerciantes Unidos in the tenth round of the Peruvian Primera División Clausura Tournament.
The match started with a frantic pace, and Cusco opened the scoring in the 9th minute thanks to a goal by P. Guzman, assisted by M. Aucca. Cusco’s joy did not last long, as Comerciantes Unidos equalized in the 25th minute with a goal from M. Sen.
However, Cusco did not let up and took the lead again in the 22nd minute with a goal from M. Aucca. The second half began with a missed penalty by I. Colman in the 64th minute. Despite this error, Cusco kept the pressure on and managed to secure the victory with an own goal by a Comerciantes Unidos player.
The match statistics show Cusco dominance in ball possession (54% vs 46%), with a higher number of shots (19 vs 9). Cusco also had more corners (9 vs 2) and fewer fouls (10 vs 9).
The match was played at the Inca Garcilaso de la Vega Stadium, under the direction of Peruvian referee Daniel Ureta.
