Cumbayá grabs victory in a thrilling match against Emelec
Cumbayá secured a crucial home victory over Emelec with a 1-0 score, in a game that was decided in the final minutes. The match, held at the Estadio Olímpico Atahualpa in Quito, was characterized by intensity and constant arrivals in the penalty areas.
The first half was marked by a balanced game, with both teams looking to break the deadlock. However, the first yellow card of the match arrived in the 43rd minute for Cumbayá, after a foul committed by Wilmer Pluas.
