FK Crvena Zvezda thrashes Cukaricki in an exciting match
FK Crvena Zvezda dominated Cukaricki at the Stadion na Banovom brdu, taking the victory by 4-1 in a vibrant match of the fifth round of the Serbian Super League.
The Belgrade side started the match with overwhelming intensity, opening the scoring in the 15th minute thanks to a goal from Peter Olayinka, assisted by Puma. The Nigerian forward scored again just two minutes later, this time assisted by Hwang In-Beom, to put the score at 2-0.
Cukaricki tried to react, but the pressure from Crvena Zvezda prevented them from finding their rhythm. The first half ended with a clear advantage for the home side, who demonstrated superiority both in possession and in attack.
The second half continued with the same tone, although Cukaricki managed to find a little more space on the pitch. Despite the fact that Crvena Zvezda continued to dominate the game, Vinicius Mello scored a goal for Cukaricki in the 69th minute, taking advantage of an assist from Uros Miladinovic.
However, the joy of Cukaricki was short-lived. In the 77th minute, Sissoko scored an own goal for Crvena Zvezda, increasing the advantage to 3-1. Finally, Luka Ilic sealed the victory in the 89th minute, following an assist from Lazar Jovanovic, to put the final score at 4-1.
