Cruz Azul defeats Chivas in a hard-fought match
Cruz Azul edged out Guadalajara Chivas by 1-0 in a tense and competitive match played at the Estadio Ciudad de los Deportes.
The match started with a fast pace, marked by the intensity of both teams. The first half was characterized by a back-and-forth game, with few clear scoring chances.
The only yellow card of the first half was given to F. Beltrán for Chivas in the 31st minute, followed by a yellow card to I. Rivero for Cruz Azul in the 35th minute.
In the second half, the match opened up and Cruz Azul found the key to victory in the 61st minute with a goal by I. Rivero, assisted by A. H. Gutierrez Torres.
